Udacity Launches SUSE Cloud-Native Foundations Scholarship Program

Udacity has in partnership with SUSE launched the SUSE Cloud-Native Foundations Scholarship Program for aspirants to become a Cloud Native Practitioner

Here is what the Udacity VP of Scholarship and Corporate Social Responsibility says about the program.

“Partnering with SUSE to offer cutting-edge online course content and expert instruction using open source technologies will provide a clear path for individuals to acquire the knowledge and skills they need to build and deliver cloud-native applications. This scholarship program empowers people at any stage of their career to expand their skills quickly with free Nanodegree programs.”

As per the SUSE blog, This program suits a wide range of individual and organizations including,

1. Aspiring cloud-native practitioners
2. Enterprises and government agencies
3. Higher education institutions

The Scholarship primarily focuses on cloud-native application development and DevOps principles.

Here is what you should know about the Scholarship.

1. Applications are accepted till May 25, 2021.
2. 15,000 applicants will get access to the Cloud-native foundation course.
3. In the foundation course, you will have to go through the scholarship challenge.
4. During the challenge, you will learn to package and release an application to a Kubernetes cluster using an automated CI/CD pipeline.
5. At the end of the challenge, 300 finalists will receive the SUSE Cloud Native Foundation Scholarship.
6. This scholarship will give complete free access to the Cloud Native Application Architecture Nanodegree program.

Cloud-Native Application Architecture Nanodegree program Details

Here is what you can expect from the Cloud Native Application Architecture Nanodegree program.

1. Learn cloud-native application development.
2. Learn Microservices and cloud-native architecture using real-world projects.
3. Container Orchestration with Kubernetes
